Glenelg Korfball Club

Keep the night of Friday 29th August free for the Korfball SA Most Valuable Player and Awards Night, organised by the Adelaide Boomers Korfball Club on behalf of Korfball SA.

The night kicks off from 6:30pm for dinner at 7pm in the Dining Room of the Goodwood Park Hotel, conveniently located on the tram line at the Goodwood Rd crossing.

Jess and Megan from Boomers will be selling tickets for $25 which entitle you to entry and dinner from your choice of:

• Chicken or Beef Schnitzels with a selection of sauces

• Roast of the Day or

• Fish and Chips

(Gluten Free and vegetarian options are available on request)

Along with Pre-dinner Wedges and a Nut Sundae for Dessert.

The night is a highly sociable evening, with members from different clubs interacting widely. The format of the night is similar to a very much shortened Brownlow or Magarey Medal count where MVP votes and goalscorers are tallied for the final 5 rounds of the season. It's a nice mix of tradition and tension building without elongating the night into tedium.
The brilliant location with the immediacy of the tram will allow revellers to celebrate at the Goody, or at the HWY, in the City or at Glenelg long after the formalities of the night have concluded.
